A warm Montessori start for every child in Al Khobar

Rising Stars is a government-affiliated Montessori pre school, playschool and daycare in Al Khobar, Eastern Province — a short drive from Dammam and Dhahran — for children from two and a half to seven years — Toddler and KG1, KG2 and KG3. We are small on purpose: small classes, familiar faces, and a teacher who knows your child's name, mood and favourite work by the end of the first week.

This is a school, not a minding service. Every level follows a written curriculum — practical life and sensorial work, language and phonics, English speaking, mathematics, science and a second language — delivered with Montessori materials at a pace each child can actually hold. Supervised daycare is available around the school day for families who need it.

02Our story

Why we created Rising Stars

Rising Stars began with a simple observation: many early years classrooms are loud, rushed and crowded, and the youngest children are the ones who pay for it. Children who need calm get noise. Children who need time get a bell. So we built a school the other way round — quiet enough to concentrate in, warm enough to feel at home in, and respectful enough that a three-year-old is spoken to, not spoken about.

Everything follows from that. Small groups, so no child is invisible. Real materials at child height, so independence is possible rather than promised. A written curriculum, so calm never means casual. And one rule we never bend: a child's dignity comes before the timetable.

Calm by designSoft sound, ordered shelves, unhurried mornings. Concentration needs quiet.
Safe, alwaysControlled entry, supervised movement, and staff who know every child by name.
Warm and respectfulChildren are asked, not ordered. Feelings are named, not dismissed.

Ms. Reshma Sakkaf

Principal · Rising Stars Montessori, Playschool & Daycare

In fifteen years of early childhood education, in India and here in the Kingdom, one thing has stayed true in every classroom: a child who feels safe learns without being pushed. That belief is the whole design of this school.

Between two and a half and seven, children absorb language almost effortlessly and set personal habits for life — dressing themselves, tidying what they used, waiting a turn, asking for help in words. Those habits are not extras added after academics. They are the foundation our curriculum sits on, and we practise them here every day.

“Never help a child with a task at which he feels he can succeed — and never leave a child alone with a feeling he cannot name.”
